Simone Luder winner in 1st WC-event 2007

Simone Niggli Luder, the big favourit and number one in the world ranking, won the A-final. The race became a close fight between her and the Swedish runner Helena Jansson.
Simone Luder immediately took the lead during the race, a little bit faster than Helena Jansson and Dana Brozkova. After 2km Dana Brozkova made a mistake (50'' to the 10th control), so there were only 2 candidates to win this sprint event. At the end Helena Jansson came very close, but Simone Niggli-Luder won with 4'' in advantage..
