Kootwijkerzand - Kattevenia - cross Herentals

Three interesting competitions took place this weekend. Yesterday a lot of Belgian runners were present in Holland 'Kootwijkerzand'. In mens class Sergey Fedotsenko took the victory ahead of Jeremy Genar and Thomas van der Kleij. In womens class Dunja van de Riet was the clear winner (10 minutes ahead).

WC Kattevenia:
Today the regional event in Kattevenia took place. In class 1 Gunther Deferme took the victory ahead of Guido Timmers and Francois Hanzen. In womens class Nancy Wenderickx (class 1) and Beatrice De Longueville (class 2) both finished in 1st position.

Cross Herentals:
Also today a cross country race in Herentals took place. A lot of national team runners were present. In men senior class: Koen Wilsens (2nd), Gert Claes, Bart Delobel, Frank Buytaert, Joost Talloen, Bert Kempenaers, Dries van der Kleij, Jeroen Hoekx, Wannes Hendrickx and Benjamin Anciaux. In women senior class: Kim Geypen (2nd), Saartje Sallaerts, Kim Steegen and Greet Oeyen. In men junior class Yannick Michiels became 5th.
