Boston Marathon

Last week I spent in Houston. Not such an exciting place to be actually. The weather is good though. Yesterday I arrived in Boston... There is one question people asked me for 13 times now... "Are you going to run the Boston marathon?"

The answer is no, but I did the last few miles of the race today. It's a flat and fast marathon that takes place tomorrow for the 111th time. One of the most famous marathons in the world. 22500 competitors will run the 26 miles, 385 yards (42.195 Kilometers) tomorrow. It is not the fastest track in the world although the Kenian Cheruiyot managed to do a time of 2h07'14".

The city itself is more interesting than most other cities in the US becauce it has a history of almost 500 years. There are some churches of the 16th century and the city center is very walkable.
So probably I will come back here one day to run the marathon and enjoy the city ones more.
