Belgian Championship sprint 2025

This Sunday, the best Belgian sprinters will load their gun for the Belgian championship sprint which is the 2th Belgian champ of the season after Simon Krekels & Anna Serrallonga won the night champs. The race will take place in Aalst which is globally known for "Aalst Carnaval". The competition is also the last test race for EYOC&JWOC and the third for EOC so the startlist is stacked. 

On the women side Marine Sillien is topfavorite after her peak performances at ASOM 2 weeks ago. Lotte Tiesters, Julia Krekels and Fanny Tilkin will fight for the podium and try to make it difficult for Sillien. We see still the absence of Tille de Smul who is working hard for her comeback for the big goals in the summer.

On the men's side Yannick Michiels is off course top favorite but Wouter Hus & Warre De Cuyper can be close (and even beat him) on a good day. Further are there numberous runners who can fight for top 5 and maybe even a podium: Evert Leeuws has showed good form and is working hard on his sprint capabilities. Liam Thiels is in peak form and showed on ASOM he certainly has the capabilities. Mathias Blaise is always dangerous but didn't had the best ASOM. Victor Mullens, Corneel Casier, Tomas Hendrickx and Clément Demeuse need to have a really good day to fight for top 5.
